(G–J) Mad RNAi increased neurogenic ectodermal nuclei marked by SoxNeuro at stage 8, Wg overexpression reduced it, and the double Wg;RNAi embryos displayed the Mad depletion phenotype. All images were taken at identical exposure conditions. This experiment shows that Mad is epistatic to Wg.
