The Timing of Phosphorylation during Mitosis Occurs Later for Some Proteins In vitro-translated, 35S-labeled proteins and nondegradable GST-cyclin B1 were added to interphase extracts at time 0, and the reactions were incubated at room temperature. At each time point, 1 μl of the reaction was withdrawn and added to 7 μl of sample buffer for gel mobility analysis. The labels below the panel represent the time in minutes since GST-cyclin B addition to the extract.
