In control animals, the proportion of NPCs decreases and the proportion of neurons increases over the observation period. Morpholinos against armc8 result in an exaggerated increase in neurons, gstp1 morpholinos result in a rapid shift in the proportion of NPCs to neurons, whereas hspa5 morpholinos result in an increase in the proportion of NPCs and a decrease in the proportion of neurons.
