Supplementary Fig S1: RT-PCR analysis of the pre-mRNA processing of Sox10, Snail2, Twist, Sox9 and Pax3 in control, CoMO- and Sf3b4MO2-injected embryos. Embryos were injected bilaterally at the 2-cell stage with 10ng of CoMO or Sf3b4MO2. Embryos were collected at stage 15 and analyzed by RT-PCR using primers designed to amplify the coding region of each gene. With the exception of Sox10 for which the normal transcripts are absent, there was no increase in transcripts size for any of the genes analyzed. Image published in: Devotta A et al.
