(b-g) Visualisation of the indicated fusion proteins in the intercellular space of the animal ectoderm of living Xenopus laevis embryos. Embryos at 4-cell stage were injected into animal blastomeres with mRNAs encoding indicated fusion proteins. At early-midgastruala stage, the injected embryos were photographed from the animal pole using the confocal microscope.
