At NF stage 37, in the isolated gut tube gut (left side view, anterior left), shows expression in the dorsal (d) and ventral (v) pancreatic buds. The position of the stomach (st) and Ilieum (il) in relation to the pancreatic buds is indicated. Note this is before the pancreatic buds fuse to form the single pancreas proper at NF stage 41.
