Fig. 3. Xlmx1b is expressed at metamorphosis and in limb buds. Xlmx1b transcripts are identified in metamorphosing tadpole Xenopus laevis RNA by Northern blot analysis. The transcript is approximately 2 kb in length. Confirming RT-PCR results, Xlmx1b transcripts are found in metamorphosing tadpole limbs and the mesonephros.
