Increasing amounts of DXFGFR-4a or DXFGFR-1 mRNA (80 (F, G), 120 (D, E), and 300 (B, C) pg/blastomere, respectively) were injected into eight animal pole blastomeres at the 32-cell stage as illustrated in the top left schema.
