Job Description

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers approximately 470 teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others. In addition to several new program models designed to meet the changing needs of U.S. academics and professionals, Fulbright offers flexible awards including multi-country opportunities.

Fulbright’s postdoctoral and early career awards present an excellent opportunity for recently minted scholars to deepen their expertise, acquire new skills, work with additional resources and make connections with leading scholars in their fields. These awards are open to U.S. scholars who have recently completed their doctoral degree – typically within the five previous years. Scholars are eligible to apply if they will complete the requirements for their doctoral degree by February 1 of the year following your application submission, unless otherwise specified in the award description.
