Research Description

I am interested in understanding the reciprocal interactions between genetics and mechanics during various aspects of tissue homeostasis. Currently focusing on determining the mechanisms driving apical emergence, a novel cell behavior required for generating of an apical surface upon radial intercalation of progenitor cells.
