Special issue flyer (pdf).

Dear colleagues,

We welcome you to submit manuscripts for our upcoming special issue “Versatile utilities of amphibians: from molecular, cellular, and developmental biology to physiology” in Development, Growth, & Differentiation (DGD), the official journal of the Japanese Society of Developmental Biologists.

Amphibian research has taken a new turn with the whole genome sequences of Xenopus tropicalis, X. laevis. and Ambystoma mexicanum as well as the daily advances in gene editing technology. This special issue aims to highlight the growing and diversifying amphibian research such as early development, organogenesis, differentiation, regeneration, metamorphosis, physiology, evolution, and ecology, using any kinds of amphibians. We hope this issue provides insights into the width, depth, and future potential of amphibian studies.

1st submission deadline: 31 March 2022.

2nd submission deadline: 31 May 2022.

We accept any types of articles including Research article, Short research article, Method, Protocol, etc.
