Whole-mount in situ hybridisation analysis was performed using antisense RNAs corresponding to the entire coding region for karyopherin-β3, RanBP7, RanBP1 and L5. Partial antisense sequences were used for in situ hybridization analysis of RanTC4 and S3A.
