Whole-mount in situ hybridisation analysis was performed using antisense RNAs corresponding to the entire coding region for karyopherin-β3, RanBP7, RanBP1 and L5. Partial antisense sequences were used for in situ hybridization analysis of RanTC4 and S3A. The presented examples were grouped into three classes: transport factors (karyopherin-β3 and RanBP7), transport factor associated proteins (RanTC4 and RanBP1) and ribosomal proteins (L5 and S3A).
