This does not cross-react with Cellular Retinol Binding Protein (CRBP), performic acid oxidized CRBP, interphotoreceptor retinoid binding protein or retinol binding protein. Although an crabp1 antibody - possibly this one- was used in Battistoniet al (2020) XB-ART-56930, [see Fig 7] it does not seem to be neural crest specific from that assay, and has been marked as 'does not work in Xenopus' until further testing
