atp1a1 (ATPase, Na+/K+ transporting, alpha 1 polypeptide ) gene expression in Xenopus laevis embryo, assayed via immunohistochemistry, NF stage 37 & 38, lateral view, anterior left, dorsal up. Staining is lighter in the proximal tubules of the pronephric nephron and stronger in the distal tubules and pronephric duct. The cloaca is also stained.
