XB-LAB-432

Henry Lab

Research Interests

Development and Regeneration of the Vertebrate Lens

Research Area

Research in our lab is underway to understand the molecular and cellular events that control the processes of vertebrate lens development and regeneration using the frog Xenopus laevis as the model animal for research. Other research is aimed at understanding the evolution of developmental processes leading to the formation of diverse larval and adult body plans in a large group of protostome phyla collectively referred to as the "Spiralia."
