AI Protein Function : cdc37 is a co‑chaperone that partners with Hsp90 to stabilize and activate a range of protein kinases involved in cell‑cycle progression and signal transduction. It functions in the cytoplasm and also translocates to the nucleus where it assists nuclear kinase maturation. Expression has been detected in the neural tube, brain, eye primordia, heart, somites, developing muscle and spinal cord. The protein belongs to the Hsp90 co‑chaperone family and modulates client kinase stability.
