  Figure 4 Expression of novel retinal stem cell markers in whole tadpoles. Whole mount expression patterns on stage 39 tadpoles of the 18 retinal stem cell markers. Most clones exhibit a strikingly similar expression profile, strongly suggesting that they form a synexpression group. In particular, in addition to the eye, selected clones label the midbrainindbrain boundary (arrows). The tip of the tail is also stained in most of these pictures.
