Research Description

Organ Engineering: Our lab was one of the first, which could show the replacement of the heart anlage by a in cell culture grown heart in frog embryos. The embryo developed into a normal larva.
Our earlier research contributions and recent activities:
Formation of the body plan during early embryonic development; 
Molecular mechanisms of early embryonic induction and differentiation
Pluripotent cells (Stem cells); 
Mesodermal and neural induction .
