Research Description:
The model systems we use are mouse, Xenopus and sea squirt oocytes to study the control of chromosome segregation on meiosis. The focus of our lab is to understand: 1) how the step-wise removal of Cohesin is controlled in oocyte meiosis I and II, and 2) SAC control, and the roles of SAC components in oocyte meiosis I for correct, monopolar attachment
