Name: Dr. Nusrat Hossain
Position: Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Description:
I investigated sox9 gene function in Xenopus using CRISPR/Cas9, phenotypic imaging, and in situ hybridization. My work linked sox9 disruption to craniofacial defects, offering insights into campomelic dysplasia and vertebrate jaw evolution.
I am currently working on Xenopus developmental biology in Dr. Ogino’s lab at Hiroshima University
