Name: Dr. Camille Boutin
Position: Research Scientist
Research Description:
The IBDM research teams study how shapes and functions emerge during embryonic development, and explore the origins of complex disease

I'm fascinated by the notion of micro-chimerism, which shows that we can harbor cells from our mothers in our bodies. I am also interested in multi-ciliated cells and the fundamental questions they enable us to address, using human cell lines and Xenopus systems.
