Injection of 6.0 and 1.5 ng truncated activin (AAR) and BMP (ABR) receptor mRNAs induce anterior (XAG1, Xotx2) but not posterior markers (Krox 20, XlHbox6) (lanes 5-8). All samples are stage 25 equivalent.
