Currents were elicited from −80 mV to various test pulses in 5 or 10 mV increments at a pulsing frequency of 1.0 Hz (holding potential −120 mV). For average peak current densities see Table 1. Expression of R104Q did not result in functional channels in the mammalian expression system.
